Engineering System Solutions

Engineering System Solutions (ES2) is a full-service, licensed, and insured Structural, Mechanical Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering firm as well as a Building Systems Commissioning firm with offices located in Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Idaho Falls.  The Idaho Falls office is the corporate headquarters and was established in 1999.

We take great pride in our dedication to quality and value engineering.  While many firms can complete a project, Engineering System Solutions is committed to finding the best way to design it with cost and constructability in mind.  Contractors know us as a firm that communicates well with field personnel to make the project’s construction process as efficient and successful as possible.  They can rely on our plans to be clear, concise, and cost effective.   Our ability to achieve this level of service is, in part, a result of our dedication to personnel and project management.  Through the implementation of our Firm Management Program, FMP², we focus on personnel development and project quality assurance.  With this company-wide emphasis on both people and projects, as well as our focus on raising the engineering standard, the results are a superior design for you and your project.

Our ES2 design team is comprised of over 18 professionals including: principal engineers, project managers, engineers, and CAD technicians in addition to 6 customer interface personnel.  Our engineers are licensed in 42 states to practice engineering and have many years of experience to draw upon. The majority of our Principals are also LEED Accredited Professionals. Our ability to solve various engineering challenges comes from the diverse backgrounds and experience brought to ES2 by our engineers, project managers and principals.

ES2 utilizes the latest software available to assist in building design and to meet the standards of the most stringent building codes.  We utilize 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (Revit by Autodesk) for generating all of our design and construction documents which better enables real time coordination between all of our disciplines.
