We specialize in providing structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for all types of residential and commercial architectural projects. In addition, we provide structural engineering services for off-site structures, such as culverts, tunnels, channels, drop-boxes, etc. We currently have offices in Idaho Falls, ID; Las Vegas, NV; and Sacramento, CA. Job Description:

• Provide competent and appropriate correspondence with all involved disciplines (i.e.: architects, engineers, clients, fabricators, contractors, building department officials, etc.)
• Coordinate and generate structural plans creation with clients, architects, engineering department, etc.
• Utilize quality control methods to ensure all information is properly shown on construction documents
• Ensure proper drawing coordination between architectural and structural drawings for final submittals
• Actively increase knowledge base of construction methods and detailing to improve your professional abilities
• Contribute to an amicable working environment with fellow colleagues, associates and employees to provide excellent customer service and meet project deadlines

Job Requirements:
Must have:
• Associate’s degree from accredited University or degree from a Vocational School
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients of all disciplines (i.e.: architects, civil engineers, developers and owners)
• Excellent Computer skills
• Experience with AutoCAD 2008 and above
• Experience with REVIT Structure

Nice to have:
• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University
• Working knowledge of AutoLisp routines and/or customizing AutoCAD
• Knowledge of building systems and construction techniques

Job Description

Oversee all levels of engineering as a project manager for MEP projects, including the following:

  • Provide competent and appropriate correspondence with all involved disciplines (i.e.: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.)
  • Design appropriate MEP systems in accordance with respective code requirements and sound engineering principles.
  • Assist with the development of complete sets of fully detailed engineering drawings, with clear and concise specifications.
  • Capably participate in project meetings (i.e.: design development, value engineering, discipline coordination), site visits, etc.
  • Contribute to an amicable working environment with fellow colleagues, associates, and employees to provide excellent customer service and meet project deadlines.
  • Generate project invoices and be responsible for collection efforts associated with project billings.
  • Excellent client relations to ensure repeat work with client.
  • Perform marketing tasks including client lunch and learns, visits, and cold calls.
  • Manage all aspects of specific projects including resource allocation, deadlines, costing, cost tracking, etc.

Qualifications

M.S. or B.S. in mechanical engineering, professional engineer license, and minimum 4 years related experience.
