The INL-ESL project is under construction! Located on University Blvd in Idaho Falls, this Energy Systems Lab facility for the Idaho National Laboratory is a combination meeting center, office building, and laboratory engineered completely by ES2 (SMEP). The two large high bay lab spaces have been erected and work is beginning on the Battery Lab module. There is lots of structural and underground electrical being installed right now. This project is targeting a LEED Gold Certification and all of the design credits have been submitted for review

Provided structural and mechanical calculations. These calculations were performed for various laboratories in three different bldgs.  We also provided some fall protection details for a re-roof project on the large dome-shaped building.  In addition, we designed the metal building foundations for a chiller enclosure.
